Idas Mae Horton

	Idas Mae Horton, 71, of Tamaroa, passed away at 5:12 P.M., Thursday, July 15, 2004 at her residence.
	Idas was a homemaker and had also been manager at the Du Quoin Elks Club for many years.  She was of the Methodist faith.
	She was born October 4, 1932 at Du Quoin, the daughter of John E. and Emma Mae (Tucker) Overton.
	She married Loren D. Horton on October 26, 1979 at Joliet, IL and he preceded her in death on March 5, 1995.
	She is survived by six children - Dennis R. Loucks of Du Quoin, Donna Howerton and husband Mark of Du Quoin, Lester W. Loucks and wife Debbie of Du Quoin, Delores "Dodie" Loucks of Du Quoin, Linda D. Bird and husband Marlin of Pinckneyville and Leslie Renee Anders and husband Rodney "Rocky" of Du Quoin, one sister - Mary Adams and husband Verl of Du Quoin, four brothers - John Overton of Florida, Roy Overton and wife Tiny of South Carolina, Harold Overton and wife Phyllis of Du Quoin and Thomas Dean Overton and wife Willadine of O'Fallon, Missouri, twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
	She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son - James Norman, and one brother - Donald Wayne Overton.
	Funeral services were at 10:00 A.M., Monday, July 19, 2004 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Rev. C.L. McKinnies and Rev. Dan McKinnies officiating.
	Friends called from 5 to 8 P.M., Sunday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.
	Interment was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery at Du Quoin.
